A year ago, we were pumped for an Angie-Jen showdown that fell through. If they don’t face off at the party this year, at least they’ll be in the same room Sunday night. What award will Jennifer be presenting ?…
Don’t even try to find out which stars will be presenting the awards at this year’s Oscar ceremony – it’s top secret information until the show airs. says Bradley Jacobs, film editor at Us Weekly.
I would love to see it be for best actress but it’ll probably be for something like best costume design or documentary feature. In any case, you can bet the camera is going to be ping-ponging back and forth between Janiston and Brangelina all night long.
This year’s Oscars is in danger of being overshadowed by the buzz surrounding Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie’s expected meeting.
Brad Pitt’s leading ladies past and present will finally cross paths at the Night Before the Oscars party in Beverly Hills on February 21.
And with a history of trading fightin’ talk in the press, there has probably never been a more eagerly-anticipated Hollywood showdown than this.
Jennifer, for one, is said to be more than ready to meet the woman who has admitted to “falling in love” with her former husband while he was still married. “She has always known that this moment would happen and she’s never been more ready to see her nemesis, Angie, in the flesh,” a source tells OK!. “She’s no longer alone – she has a hot man in her life – John Mayer – and she plans to bring him as her date to the party.”
It’s UNHCR Goodwill time again and Angelina is in Thailand again.
UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie has called on the Thai government to grant Myanmar refugees in northern Thailand greater freedom of movement, after spending a day listening to refugees tell of the difficulties they have faced in two decades of living in closed camps.
“I was saddened to meet a 21-year-old woman who was born in a refugee camp, who has never even been out of the camp and is now raising her own child in a camp,” Jolie said after her visit Wednesday to Ban Mai Nai Soi camp, home to 18,111 mainly Karenni registered refugees, just three kms from the Myanmar border, near Mae Hong Son.
“With no foreseeable chance that these refugees will soon be able to return to Burma (Myanmar), we must find some way to help them work and become self reliant,” she said.
The 111,000 registered refugees who live in nine camps in northern Thailand along the Thai-Myanmar border are not allowed to venture outside the camps to work or receive higher education.

I haven’t got a sense about this rumor but it’s out there anyway.
A “source” is saying:
“Angie is doing everything she can to get pregnant. She’s taking prenatal vitamins, has dramatically cut down on her junk-food consumption, and is seeing her obstetrician regularly whenever she’s back in LA. Her goal is to be pregnant by the time Knox and Viv have their first birthday. Angie is one of those people who always manages to achieve whatever she wants.”
Check out the Jolie-Pitts new Long Island digs. They’ll be staying there until mid-summer while Angelina works on Edwin A. Salt.
The main house is 22,000 square feet, and the Tudor-inspired property comes complete with two helipads, a private dock, and an 11-bedroom staff house. The mansion has been on the market for an asking price of $60 million.

Summer shot:
If they ever want to get away from the spotlight, they should settle down somewhere like Rio Grande do Norte .
It’s awesome that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has landed 13 Oscar nominations with Brad Pitt having an outside shot at best actor. It’s also good to know that our megastar is still quite human as seen at this Paris photocall for the movie.
Today, Global Action for Children (GAC) announced a $100,000 end-of-year-grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The grant will support GAC’s efforts on an Emergency Presidential Initiative for the World’s Children (EPIWC) in the new Obama administration, ensure children are not left off the agenda during the growing financial crisis, and help GAC continue its mission of making every taxpayer dollar more efficient in U.S. foreign assistance for children.
