Brangelina: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Gossip

It doesn’t matter how rich you are. If you have kids, you’ll be going through the golden arches drive thrus. In Hollywood yesterday, it was the Jolie-Pitts turn.

There a very important question that must be asked.
Are there still a few fries imbedded in the back seat cushions that will become a surprise snack next month for one of the children?

Not much going on in Brangelina land lately. So digging into the Youtube archives, I’ve found this old Japanese commercial that Brad Pitt did for Integra. I bet stars are much more careful these days in choosing to do foreign commercials. It’s so funny. I’m sure Brad had no clue back then that technology would one day deliver this commercial in front of American eyes. I wonder what Angelina thinks of his “co-star”.

First off, I haven’t posted anything here in over 2 months … shame on me. Like Brad and Angelina, I have many children that occupy my time and that makes maintaining this site a challenge. I’m thinking about putting a news feed at the top of the page that will always have the latest Brangelina headlines so the site will stay fresh. Be watching for that.

I know many things have happened to our star couple since I last posted. These include Cannes and endless breakup rumors. Once again, People Magazine, the best source over the years for true Brad and Angelina information, has put the brakes on the breakup rumors and other “stories”. Their latest issue debunks Pitt/Aniston meeting, new adoption plans, Cannes bickering, and hate between Angelina and Brad’s mom Jane.

So, once again, all is bliss. There is no need to diss.

Instead of chasing the latest empty rumors, it’s better to focus on the important issues in Brad and Angelina’s lives that are constantly there and will always be there. I’m talking about Brad and Angelina’s charity. The latest “juicy” news is they donated $1 million to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, MO. To honor Brad’s mom, the hospital is matching the funds to expand their children’s cancer treatment unit and will rename it, The Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center.

Here’s a run down of the main humanitarian projects that are dear to Brad and Angelina’s hearts:

Did I miss any? I’m sure I did. After all, there are so many of them.

Finally, this Saturday, June 20th is World Refuge Day. Just like last year, Angelina has a special message for us:

I started with Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. The Cheaters. And yeah, even though it TASTES good, and it really is CRUST…it’s still cheating if you know you are supposed to be using your OWN CRUST even though the Crescents are just so easy. Just saying, Bradley. Read into that what you will.

I rolled all 6 of them out, 2 by 2, making each pair into a large rectangle. Then I cut them each into 2 squares. (Not saying Brad and Angie are Square. Not saying that.) So I had 6. Six little crusties. Like 6 little JoPitts.

After pressing each crust into a regular sized muffin tin (with plenty of extra dough hanging out on top – get it? Extra Dough?) I filled the bottoms with a little over a tablespoon each of Milk Chocolate Chips (this represents Zahara), and Caramel Chips (for Pax and Maddox). Then I made a concoction of one brick of Cream Cheese (Shiloh, Knox and Vivi), an egg, and 1/2 cup of sugar. I beat this together with a splash of vanilla and 2 tablespoons of Nutella. I then divided it up and plopped some into each of the crusts.

After the filling was in, I pulled the tops of the crusts over each other, making little dumpling style numbers. Because those little Jolie Pitt kids are dumplings if nothing else. Have you seen Shiloh’s cute little cheeks? Or the twins? Super sweet. They can’t help who their parents are. I would have shown you a picture here, but I don’t think all 8 of them have ever been in the same place at once. I mean, I don’t think they even own a minivan, do they? Will 6 kids even fit in a minivan? Whatever. I digress.

So…Are they Pies? I don’t know. What they are is Rich. Like Mega Rich. Like Brangelina Rich. And these little guys don’t even know it. That should count for something.

True or False? We need paparazzi proof. Brad and Angelina, come out wherever you are.

Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted in the Philippines, according to a news report from a local newspaper yesterday. According to The Philippine Star, Pitt and Jolie, or “Brangelina” as they are more fondly called by the media, were billeted with their children at the newly-opened Shangri-la Hotel in Boracay Island.

Boracay Island is a top tourist destination in the Visayas region, with beautiful white beaches and crystal clear seas.

The report also claims that the Jolie-Pitts’ stayed at the Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City, where they stayed until they flew out to Boracay Island.

A representative for the hotel chain has since given out a statement saying that there is no one checked in under Jolie or Pitt’s name. But sources say that they may have checked-in under a different name. Some tourists on Boracay Island have also commented on the heightened security at the Shangri-la Hotel, adding more to the speculation that “Brangelina” and their brood are indeed in the country.

Shiloh, ... she is the real story in D.C this week. You think Brad and Angelina have their hands full now. Wait till this little girl grows up.

With those blond locks Shiloh has a slight resemblance to actress Elizabeth Mitchell (notable for Lost fame as the character Juliet). It will be interesting to see if the rumors are true about Juliet returning for the concluding Lost final season (debuting February 2, 2010).

A few days ago, I saw some PicApp pictures of the Jolie-Pitt outing to The Little Mermaid on Broadway. Most of us can only afford to go to the movie … but that’s life. I decided not to post the pic of Shiloh’s nose pick. This one, though, I bet I can guess what was going down.

I think Maddox is probably telling Pax, “No way dude. It’s my turn to sit up front. Don’t even think about it.” Anyone else want to take a stab at writing a caption for this? Whether it’s Broadway or the movie theater, we all have to deal with loading up our kids in the van.
