Timing a rumor

Once again, the break-up rumor is just another tale. Congratulations to the folks who cooked up the story. This one really broke through, sprouted wings, and flew.
Break-up stories were staple material in the early Brangelina days and made gobs of money each time they got printed. Over the years, they’ve lost their steam. It’s a work of art to bring that story up from the dead and make it fly again. I say timing is the key.
I think interest in Brangelina peaked when the twins were born. After that, the public continued to be saturated with them and everyone got sick of it. I noticed the narrative on their lives really dropped off when public eyeballs focused in on Michael Jackson’s death. Since then, Brad and Angelina have never regained focal point attention. Their relationship is so stable and normal. There’s been nothing much to write about and I bet Brad and Angelina like it that way (… unless I’m wrong and they really were trying to drum up attention with their McDonalds drive-thru outings).
So, before posting another break-up story, you have to wait long enough for people to be willing to revisit the Brad and Angelina narrative. Of course, your story needs to be half believable as well. Then, you have to wait for the perfect time. You couldn’t have done it early last week. Everyone was looking at Haiti. You can’t wait too long because all eyes will be on the Winter Olympics. Now is a great time to publish the lie! The only thing going on are the American football playoffs and that’s not the demographics I’m shooting at. So, you throw your tale out into the pool of constant information circling the globe and hope for the best. Hurray! This one worked and now you get to cash in the money from it. Done deal.
Listen, Brad and Angelina are not Jon and Kate. So, don’t cry Dooce. They’re fine, they’re fine.
They will NEVER separate … Angelina spontaneously murdering Brad due to stress from raising such a large clan of little ones … that one, we’ll have to wait and see.

Brad and Angelina will never split up….Good on them….They are very much in love and great Humanitarians…They both know the true meaning of commitment, to themselves and to their children. They do so much good for poverty stricken nations…We should all be ashamed of ourselves for allowing these “Split Up” rumors to continue. I believe strongly that Angelina is a very selfless, compassionate woman, one who shows sympathy and empathy to the poverty stricken human beings in the world. She is also not one to brag or disclose her humanitarian efforts to help out wherever and whenever she can. God knows the “good” that she does and that’s enough….I pray that God keeps them both strong and always respecting and loving to each other, and to continue the enormously good work that they are doing all around the world. Shame on those who are jealous, spiteful and obviously evil, who make up disgusting rumors and lies about this wonderful couple……

I really think they will slipt. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie broke somebody else heart and that is not right. I think steel Jennifer Aniston husband was despicable and cruel, she knew what she was doing but didn’t care.
I agree that she is a humanitarian woman but that doesn’t appologize what she did. Coming up with lies about she not wanting to have kids, come on! What kind a evil person does that? Or seducing Brad Pitt and them taking him home as soon as she could, I am sorry, but this is not right. And if you guys have husbands put yourselfs on Jennifer’s side and think how terrible would be if a Angelina show up on your lifes.
I can’t stand that lying homewrecker, and I hope that Brad leaves her. Although, she trapped him worse than Jaunita trapped Michael Jordan by popping out kids right away. She is EVIL, and one day I hope Karma kicks in for her. WHat kind of a woman doesn;t speak to her own father, and does nto allow him to see the grandkids? Especially when yo consider that wihtout his acting, she would be nothing. All she is is T & A….no talent….no substance. She has slept with EVERY one of her co-stars. Your post really made my day. It was such a great consolation for me. At first I was really sad upon hearing the news that they broke up, you know that I’m a big fan of them as well as their big family. I really hope everything is fine with them , keep on praying for that.
I really hope all this is just a bunch of bulls–t. I admire Brad and Angelina and hope that their marriage will upstand all this stupid media crap. And people REALLY NEED TO GET OVER THE POOR JENNIFER ANISTON CRAP too.. She has gone on with her life and is happy. Their marriage was apparently doomed anyway. Angelina’s wild past is her own business and no one elses… and by the way, anyone wanting to throw stones at her for doing things you consider wrong may as well throw the stones at yourselves… no one is perfect! She has done more good in this world than any other actress in my opinion.. maybe that’s way Brad fell in love with her.. other than her striking beauty. If everyone would just leave them alone, their marriage would not suffer and they would be a blissfully happy couple. Also, if she and Brad want to adopt 100 kids from 100 different countries, that is their business too and I personally hope they do just that! There are millions of kids in the world that need a home and some love and I commend Brad and Angelina for their part in giving the kids they have a loving home. This has nothing to do with liking Jennifer, and everything to do with NOT liking this psychotic manipulator. We just keep hoping Brad wises up, we DO like him. He is just a typical dumb guy. You get what you give. Eventually this marraige will go under, so all of you fans of this psycho (not even sure what you see in this talentless slut) will be very sad. Has she ever done a movie where she is not showing her naked body, or form fitted outfit? She only sells sex, not true talent, which is why she gets bad reviews in any movie other than where she bares all: all movies where she does nto have breasts hanging out, or showing every curve. If you watch any old movies, those actresses were sexy and talented, and never showed anything but a beautiful face, and legs below the knee. If she did that, you would HAVE to look at her talent, and that’s where she would fall short.
btw, I’m on here only because I was hoping the article addressed the fact that she should not have children – like Octomom. Also, people having many children is EVERYBODY’s business. If you DO NOT keep an eye on these people, their children suffer. She is not a humanitarian, she is a publicity freak. Mother Theresa did much more than this psycho will ever do – with a camera off. All the many missionaries that GIVE THEIR LIVES to help people do not have a camera there to show everyone, “Look what I do”. Remember, the Bible tells us that you either receive your reward on earth (letting many know of your good works so you get their acknowledgement) or in heaven (keep your good works between you and God and you geta greater reward in Heaven). She is getting all of hers here on earth, which makes her no better than the Pagans of old. I don’t hate her, I just don’t like her careless disregard for the people around her, including her father. A true humanitarian is kind to all, and has a gentle spirit, is remorseful for the wrong they do…I have seen none of these traits in her, which proves my point. Publicity, not a love of humanity dirves her.

It seems like you know Angelina personally, the way you talk about her . You say she is talentless and all the acting she does involves baring her body . Maybe you should address the people who make up the Oscar , Golden Globe and SAG Awards panels for repeatedly giving Angelina nominations and letting her win some of those said awards .
She is estranged from her father. Let us remember that this is the same father that abandoned Angelina’s mother when both kids were young. The same father who….said on TV and tabloids that his daughter has a mental problem. I bet you will love your father

A strong bond between husband and wife cannot be broken EASILY.
If Mr Pitt had that kind of strong marriage with his saintly EX wife ,
nobody and absolutely nobody can break their marriage. But it seemed that it was not as ideal a marriage as we all thought it was at that time. America’s Girl next door just had a different priority at that time that did not involve starting a family.
We all deserve a second chance…in love…in life…in a job…or in anything . If one thing does not work…and we have an option to change it…WE ALL TAKE THAT OPTION. Ibet you are happily and blissfully married. L , you are very lucky because a lot of other people are NOT happy and opt to make a change.
Angelina never announces the many donations and help and
time she gives to her worthy causes. That job belongs to the

The kids will grow and prosper. They seem to have parents who
sees to it that they get proper care and normalcy in their life. Except for the frequent travels, I believe these kids are leading a life as normal as it could be. And compared to other Celebrity kids we have now…I dont see as many pictures of the jolie-pitt kids as i want to see. I wish the Jolie-Pitts would let us intrude in their lives as much as we want t .

Those of you who idolizing Brangelina, praying for them to stay together and whose happiness depends on whether they split up or are together forever need to get a life. They may be uber famous, but let’s face it, they are just like anyone else and likely even more prone to problems that can break up any relationship. You need to quit obsessing about celebrities’ personal lives that really don’t (or shouldn’t) affect you personally and perhaps pay more attention to your own issues.

I guess I should have expected no less… You presume to know me – you know NOTHING about me, not my views, not my sex, you don’t even know if I am married or not. As to the “cave” I came out of , far from it. Those of us who work hard don’t live in caves, and our viewpoints are much more educated than you obviously presume to know. Also, I give to the charities that I choose worthy. It is my right to spend my money wherever, and however I choose, and I don’t let anyone pressure me into making those decisions. btw – the awards ceremonies…? really? Do you honestly think that shows that someone has talent? Please! Susan Lucci waited 7 years to get her award, yet she MADE the show. Show me a film that Angelina did without any nudity, or tight fitting outfit that didn’t show her nipples for which she won an award.

Repeatedly? Other than banal award’s like the People’s Choice and MTV, she hasn’t won anything since Girl Interrupted in 1999. In fact that was the only screen film for which she received an award from the Academy, Golden Globe or SAG, which was for best supporting actress, not lead actress. Additionally, until her last 2 films she wasn’t even nominated by the Academy, Golden Globe or SAG for anything since Girl Interrupted. The vast majority of film projects she chose subsequent to Girl Interrupted only showcased her looks and/or body rather than any exceptional skill as an actress. 1 best supporting actress award and 2 best actress nominations over the course of more than 15 years in screen film acting and over 2 dozen screen films does not qualify for repeatedly unless you are using your own special definition of the word.

So what? A self aware and vigilant person cannot be mugged or raped easily. A sophisticated and intelligent person cannot easily become a victim of fraud and lose their life savings. None of that is relevant to the culpability and character of a person who mugs and rapes easy victims or con men who ripoff easy marks of everything they have. Likewise, the status of the marriage does nothing to vindicate a homewrecker’s character. If anything it only confirms it. Typically homewreckers will target couples with relationship problems. It’s predatory.

When Brad and Angelina met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith
she had just left a marriage to Billy Bob Thornton and he was
in the throws of an unhappy marriage, he made no secret of the
fact that he wanted children and longed to be a father.
Jennifer Anniston Brad’s then wife had miscarried two children
and was in a desperate state of grief which put a strain on the
their marriage…then Brad met Angelina, she appeared to be a strong and passionate woman, she was already a mother to her adopted son Maddox and he was smitten by her predatory
attention. Predatory because Angela sensed his unhappiness
and without regard for his wife, used his vulnerability to steal him.
She helped Brad to betray Jennifer when she was depressed in a very public cowardly and humiliating way. So there should be no
surprises when we find out about their sham of a relationship.
The saying goes that all is fair in love and war, but betrayal,
any type of betrayal of this nature is different, when another
person shows scant respect for the feelings of another in favour of their own self obsessed longings or needs, the superficial
euphoria wares thin quite quickly…The foundation of trust is
shaky, the tangled web of lies that were once told leads to a
point of nothingness and that’s what is eventually found. That’s
why unfaithful men or women return home to their original partner.
Brad and Angelina have not looked happy for years, they are
stuck in the rut of showing face, putting on a front etc. She
had the children he wanted, plus more…He misses Jennifer
for all the real reasons he fell in love with her in the first place
and he deeply regrets his actions because he knows she didn’t
deserve it…It’s not been easy for Brad but he made his choice
and feels duty bound to stick to it.
Lies, deceit, selfishness, lust and betrayal is not the basis of a
strong relationship.

Love comes when you least expect it, it just happens sometimes, yes even if it breaks someone’s heart on the way. Love doesn’t come on appointement, it just comes. And if Brad and Jen were so good together, that would have never happened, end of the story.
Angelina is not a witch or a man’s stealer, they met, fell in love and that’s it, it’s very sad that someone got hurt in the way, but it just happens sometimes. And you are in no place to judge them, you do not known them, you do not known what happened between Brad and Jen for it to go wrong, you do not know what happened between Brad and Angelina.
Do no judge when you cannot know.
I don’t want to be harsh, it’s ujust…. After all it’s just another love story, it happens in “normal” people life too. You think you”re good with someone, then someday, somehow, you meet someone ho completes you.
@Coco king : judge yourself before judging others. You do not know them, you have no right to put the blame on someone and calling her “predatory”. Is your life so sad that you have to tear appart someone? Look at your own sin before hand.

Brad adn Angelina fell in love? I think it was more like lust. Also, you are so keen on calling coco king judgemental, but what did you do to coco king? I think you judged coco king, unfairly, I might add. Life does not teach us not to judge, the Bible (and other religious books) teaches us that. Life teaches us that there are predators out there waiting to prey on the weak and naive. Our religious books teach us many more things than not to judge, btw, that is only a small part of all the lessons, like do not commit adultery.
Their relationship was laid out for all to see, so yes, we do not have to “know them well” to determine that it was based upon lust, lies, deciet, and selfishness, not love. No where has “love” ever been defined as selfish desire, or hurting others to gain what you want. I do not know you, so I do not know what planet you come from that you see “Love” defined that way. But I do know this: when you air your dirty laundry, we can all see it. If you choose a public life, you choose for people to see all that you do – good or bad.
Stop being so hateful of us little people, because Brad and Angelina do not need your defense – they really do not care what people say about them. IF they did, this blog would not even exist, becasue they would always do the right thing. Only you are stressed from what people say about them, no one else really cares…

Annwyn’s response plus two additions shows how much
a certain sector of society worship the superficial ground these
celebrities walk on. To get that riled up over an opinion
about a couple of strangers is laughable.
Ok, don’t shoot the messanger, but I just found out that you can download, for free, the first few chapters of “Brangelina” by Ian Halperin (Halperin is convinced that Brad and Angelina will break up soon, and apparently his book outlines the reasons for the supposed split).
