The Jolie-Pitt Foundation still has a fortune of over $10 million in baby pic booty.
Angelina Jolie’s Mother Theresa track record includes speaking on behalf of refugees in the Middle East and founding an educational charity in Cambodia. But I once gave canned peas to a food bank, so I expect Angelina’s charitable acts to be beyond reproach. It turns out not even half of the money that Brangelina made off their baby pics–$18.1 million for bio babies Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne alone–have been donated to charity.
The New York Times reports that the Jolie-Pitt Foundation has donated just $2 million since it was established in 2006. Trevor Neilson, Angelina’s financial advisor, says that an additional $5.6 million is pledged for different organizations. Those include a $2 million pledge for a clinic in Ethiopia, created for Zahara, their three-year-old Ethiopian-born daughter. $2.6 million is earmarked for Brad’s New Orleans reconstruction program, Make It Right. $500,000 has been pledged to educate children in Iraq, and an additional $500,000 in smaller donations round out the pledges. That still leaves $10.5 million of money available from the People magazine sales alone. They should probably figure out where that’s going before they blow it all on 10,000 acre castles.
