Staying to Help in Iraq
Feb 29th, 2008 by brangelina
Whoa baby! Angelina is rocking the boat. The Obama freight train is on full speed heading for a January arrival at the White House. Everybody is singing “bring the boys home from Iraq.”
Angelina stepped in today with an excellent op-ed piece for The Washington Post entitled Staying to Help in Iraq.
Today’s humanitarian crisis in Iraq — and the potential consequences for our national security — are great. Can the United States afford to gamble that 4 million or more poor and displaced people, in the heart of Middle East, won’t explode in violent desperation, sending the whole region into further disorder?
She’s got a lot of guts making a stand like this with the Obama tidal wave coming. Good for you Angie! Keep telling everyone the real story and never back down.

Good for you, Angie, Tell it like it is. I have a son & daughter-in-law in that mess over their, they think we are needed over their. I’m not will to take the chance if we pull out, that another 9/11 or somewhere else in the US won’t get hit.
kudos to Angelina for seeing what the Obama train won’t realize until it is to late. at least McCain or Clinton know the consequences of leaving. hopefully other hollywood personalities will read this op-ed and do their own research instead of hopping on the “obama change train “. we must stay to prevent the longterm conditions of poverty, misery, and lack of education of festering in a new wave of young angry men who are turned against western civilization by those who ultimately mean us harm.
