I totally agree. I know there is a lot of general Brangelina talk here but I often in my posts point people to sites where they can make a difference. On the sidebar, I now have permanent links to organizations Brad and Angelina are involved in.

One of the things we like to do as a family is making shoebox Christmas gift care packages for Samaritan's Purse. I'm also looking at sponsoring a Compassion International child. My children are young and this is a good way to expand their world view and establish a giving spirit in their lives. When they're older, I'll look into ways they can give their time for the needy.

Instead of questioning and judging Angelina on what her motives are in joining the UNHR, why don't we try and find out how we can be of help. We do a lot of talking and finger pointing, but yet we never want to lift a finger to help. Angelina could have just sent monetary help, but she wanted to get a hands on, she can just stay home with her family, but yet she wants hers and Brad's children to see why she's doing this, going to this places, spending her own money for her own fare, to see in person how miserable the lives of this refugees are. It's not enough to send money, it's to see with our own eyes what this refugees are going through, specially the innocent children. At the end of the day, once we all meet our maker, when he asks, what have you done to help the needy, I for one would like to say, I did what I could...
