Brad and George gave Entertainment Weekly their views on today’s young Hollywood stars.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney have slammed Hollywood’s new generation of “car wreck” stars. The “Ocean’s Thirteen” co-stars admitted they would struggle to cope with the pressure young Hollywood stars face today, but said too many young actors just want to be splashed over gossip magazines.

Clooney told Entertainment Weekly magazine: “We are always going to be that society that slows down to look at the car wreck on the side of the road. I think we’re just in one of those places right now, and it seems to be focused on younger kids. Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and people like that. “They’ll get through it, but I wouldn’t want to be growing up around that.”

Pitt added that young stars are to blame for being fame-hungry, and not focusing on more important issues. He said: “But being that is our nature, you have to focus on other, more important issues too, because those ‘car wreck’ tendencies can be very disruptive and aren’t a good guide on how to live your life.”
