What will they be coming back into?
Jun 8th, 2006 by brangelina
It took Namibian government intervention to secure Brangelina’s privacy in a remote area of the world far away from Hollywood. Now, they’re coming home.
In Namibia, only the top paparazzi needed to be kept at bay. Back in the states, there will be a lot more press hounding them plus a multitude of fans with camera phones everywhere they turn.
Before Namibia, public appearances were difficult enough for Brad and Angelina. Consider the ambush Angelina got in New York last year. Now with stuff like Gawker Stalker, the problem is multiplied.
Jennifer Aniston may be more popular in the polls but she doesn’t pull the fanatical obsession that Brangelina has. Jen’s got more of a reserved approval. I guarantee that Brad and Angie would require much more security if they were to go to a Cubs game.
While so many celebrities pretentiously think they are megastars, only a few have really drawn attention that warrants that status. Sometimes, megastar attention destroys a person. Look at what Michael Jackson’s life has become. Others have kept their wits amidst the circus around them and even used that attention for the good of society. Consider what Lady Di accomplished her life. Brangelina is of this breed. Let’s pray they’ll always stay that way and not let the attention get the best of them.
And then there are the children. Wealth can buy a child a bubble from the world but if fame is around, it will always work its way into that bubble and mess with the child as they grow up. Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh are children of megastars. They will get the attention you typically see children of royalty get.
Shiloh will be the most watched child in celebrity history. Add Maddox and Zahara’s ethnicity and you now have one truly fascinating family. I think the Jolie-Pitts will bring a new form of Camelot similar to what the Kennedy’s had in the 60′s.
You know that Brad and Angelina will ensure that all their kids get equal affection from them. The world, though, will single Shiloh out as the chosen one. Unfortunately, that’s a reality that Mad and Z will have to deal with as they grow up. Let’s hope the Brangelina resolve will be instilled in them and that they will not be shaken by what the world throws at them.
Anyway, get your camera phones out and get ready for the big adventure. I seriously believe Brangelina fame is here to stay and will not be a fad.
