First, thank you Reuters and MSNBC for throwing all this attention my way. Welcome first time visitors, friends and foes. I try to keep a balanced view of Brad and Angelina here highlighting tidbits of news. I sometimes poke fun at them but my favorite thing is to feature their humanitarian work. If you love Brangelina, go do something dear to their hearts and donate to the U.N. Refugee Agency:

The fever pitch is way beyond their control. Brangelina is blessed by fame as well as being trapped and cursed by it. Jolie has been very smart in the way she leverages that fame for what really matters. For example, just look at how she orchestrated a $600,000 charity donation for her first officially pregnant photo:

Very interesting piece … I don’t recall hearing Brad Pitt’s name mentioned at all. I’m sure ABC had to sign a major agreement promising not to probe about the relationship. I feel the show presented the true Angelina Jolie

There’s a reason they are getting all this attention—they are fascinating as a couple, they are doing interesting projects all over the globe, and they are both charismatic. And they are the parents of a gorgeous, multi-cultural little clan, with more to come.
They are adorable.
Marcia, you said it all. The Jolie-Pitts rock. Now, fast forward to Valentines Day and a private wedding ceremony for this family.
In another matter, Angelina has it right – she is trying to redirect the attention she gets to those issues that are close to her heart – the refugees. In that sense, she acknowledges the role the papz play and is using it effectively. However, when you throw in crazed Aniston fans into the mix, you can get an entirely unpredictable outcome, sometimes even fatal. Please Angie and Brad, protect yourselves. Unfortunately for us “good” fans, we will have to make do with fewer photos maybe. But I can gladly live with that, knowing that you and your gorgeous brood are safe and happy.

The attempted attack in Berlin could have occured after some of you here in this website were talking where the two were probably located at that time and some of you said they were in Berlin. Just a precaution.
I am not surprised that a Chinnifer Manniston fan would try to attack Angelina. Those XXXL women who sit home eating twinkies all day in Ohio are so lame! They sit in their trailer trash homes rooting for an ugly, big chin, worthless actress who whines about her divorce. I am so sick of them.

I know Angelina would be embarrased of half of your posts supporting her. If she is so “good”, she wouldn’t want this behavior going on in her defense. So, do the right thing and keep these posts respectable.
I thought Angelina was amazing on “Nightline.” If ever there were doubts that she is using her fame for good, that interview will dispell them.
As for the haters… if you’re against divorce, don’t have one.
I first read about the almost attack on Angelina on here and am not surprised. There are crazies everywhere. Although as a personal choice I like and respect Jolie more then Aniston, I have found some respect for Aniston as well and that is that she is moving on, or trying to AND taking responsibility for her part in the divorce, as it does take two. Now that some crazed fans are taking it to a personal level with the potential for violence, perhaps JA should speak out about being against this kind of thing. Jolie-Pitt have kept public displays of affections (something that would be natural at this time for anyone else) partly, I believe, for her, she should not keep quiet about this and let it be known it is wrong, perhaps re-inerate that she has moved on, as perhaps her fans should too. I believe as a high profile person herself she should speak on this, even though it is not her fault for others actions.
I agree with you Fieryrose, Aniston needs to publicly appeal and re-iterate to her fans to stop the violence, to turn the page, and to move on! And Brangelina, if you are reading this, safeguard yourselves until this frenzy subsides.
Oh, and to Anon, continue to keep the boards alive and kicking, with your sometimes not so subtle and humorous self. Maintain that high road of discourse and do not stoop to the level of others we will not mention. Go Brangelina!!

I read several of your posts here and in the other “Fever Pitch” discussion and you come off so cocky. The entire purpose of your posts is to show how much above everyone you are. Telling people they have a screw loose or they have no class or they misunderstand infidelity.
Why are you here posting if “we little people” are so offensive and beneath you? Surely, you have some great philosophical debates to have elsewhere? You are full of it. People are having fun here. I think of it like men who argue about football. I always wondered why the men in my family did that. Then I realized, it was because it was better than arguing about some illness or some horrible thing that happened at work. Same here. People are here tp harmlessly shoot the breeze. Let them. At least they are not out harming anyone.
Nothing bugs me more than pompous people like you who straddle both sides, you want to engage in our “petty” posting behavior but you want to dictate how it should be done. Well folks let’s just it was a matter of time before two of the worlds most beuatiful people got together. They seem so right for each other that it was just a matter of time. I get tired of seeing hollywoods most beautiful women end up with losers and the end result is breaking up or divorce. I wish all the luck in the world for brad and angelina.

Here is what you are saying to yourself: “I really hate all this crap and celebrity bashing, and celebrity focus but it keeps reeling me back in. Now, on a more immediate note. I’ve been watching the verbal volleying between you know who and I think it is hilarious. Points have been won on both sides and now it is time for a time out. The others, including myself, need to wade through this diatribe to get to the Brangelina gossip that really matters.
This blog master/mistress has pretty much left it up to us to make this site what we want it to be. And it’s a great site where I can put in my two cents worth and read that of others. So, with that in mind, I would like to appeal to everyone to keep this blog as a place that attracts posters who feel free to comment about Brangelina (for or against) without the fear that they might be personally attacked for their opinion, or, without personally attacking others, for their opinion. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Knock the opinion, don’t knock the person! And personal name calling is also taboo in my book!

About a Brangelina wedding. No, I don’t think it will be Superbowl Sunday, Marcia. I really, really want them to tie the knot by around Valentines Day, eventhough trite, it certainly is romantic. However, deep down in my heart I feel that the sooner they marry, all the sooner they will be working on a divorce, like the ying and the yang, you know, marriage / divorce. So, although I know that a marriage can last a long time if you continually work at it ( myself 23+), I know that hollywood marriages are subject to all kinds of other pressures, some of which we are experiencing right now. Therefore, I think the Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell thing seems to be a good alternative to a wedding. But, boohoo, I want to see a private wedding with the kids going down the aisle!! And I want to see Angelina & Brad in those Mr&Mrs Smith wedding outfits, for real. Anyway, it seems like an impossible dream, but, I haven’t lost hope. Sigh!

So Queenbee, SaraSue and Katie, I feel the same way about the wedding as you do: I want a wedding before the baby is born, and yet, I feel deep down in my heart that marriage might not be the best thing for them to be happy for a long time in this wacked-out ang highly-pressured Hollywood scene.
Re: Eye color—I’ve seen pictures where Angie’s eyes have looked both green/hazel and then almost gray/blue; not sure what her real color is either.
Angie never wore a conact in her life. Her eyes are actually greeen, they changed color depends on the color of her outfits and the light which reflects the color of her eyes. And as far as getting married—I just still think Brad is traditional enough to want to be married before the baby comes. My take is that she got pregnant and they put the children’s name changes in motion first, so that all the kids would have the same names. You can feel pretty lousy during the first trimester—and I think Angie did—and she still was working on a movie. Now that she’s feeling better and their schedules seem freer, I could see them putting a wedding together pretty quickly.

In a bio on MSN it says her eyes are a deep blue, but I just haven’t seen only blue and her Mom looks blue eyed, just a curious thing with me.
As far as marriage, if I really thought about it it I would have to disagree with the divorce thing and say that she would put her all into it. unlike her twenties full of defiance, I think she will trade her vial in for a traditional last name of Jolie-Pitt like her kids. I do not believe for one second that she would trust Brad enough to let him have half custody of her child and his last name with out her totally giving her all into a marriage. She divorced BB for differences in values after she adopted Maddox. She found a life and children and a mission for herself and all children, in other words, even though still her own person she has grown up. Brad now too has found that love of helping, she showed him this. I truly believe if they were to get married they would not wind up in divorce court if either of them can help it. It is not only about them anymore like so much of hollywood. I think they may truly stand the test of time. I just hope the media settles down and they can walk out a front door in peace like most other people, even other celebs.

marga- I gree with you, It seems like in hollywood the faster some of these celebrities get married, the faster they get divorced. I don’t feel that it necessary to get married anymore, especially in hollywood, if you love each other you don’t need a piece of paper to confirm it. It seems to be working for goldie hawn and kurt russell(however you spell his name) and susan sarandon and that guy.
fieryrose and marga—I agree. We’ve all said things when we were younger that we’ve taken back. Angie said she would only adopt children, but then she meets the perfect mate—who wants kids—and come on! Who WOULDN’T happily get pregnant?! She’d be insane not to! She looks extremely happy. I just love these two as a couple. I never cared that much for Brad Pitt (didn’t dislike him or anything, just didn’t think about him) when he was with JA, but when these two hooked up—they just ignited. I give him credit for moving on when he knew he’d get a lot of public grief for it, but life’s too short—you gotta be happy.

What matter is now. I’m glad that Brad and Angelina are together. And expecting a baby together. Even if their relatipnshiop doesn’t last, it is OKAY. It is so typical to happen in these days and age.
If they do last like Paul Newman and his wife, then it’s even better. I truly appreciate all their humanitarian work around the world. I’m glad she spends her money helping other people and not like some of these celebrities.

My for inclination was to go there, but you do have to sign as a member to see anything. Since it is not really a site I want to be on I decided against it. The soulie Jolie site I do look at. conversation, perhaps a year or so ago….

the issues that you care about? Showing your tattoo of know your
rights?
Or is this how you go about professing to your future in-laws that
haven’t quite accepted you that all of your tats were for a good cause?
Is this how you go about shedding light on the many plights that you’ve
seen in countries that castrate women, mutilate children, and destroy
hope?

have to be made?

I’ve actually seen interviews where people care about the “issues” and
the first thing they say is, “I don’t want to talk about me, this is
what’s important.”
When did she once say “I don’t want to talk about me, I want to talk
about something I saw that maybe you don’t know about yet. And that
something is….........”
The interview was about Angelina.
The subject was Angelina.
The light shed was on Angelina. There was no deflecting to the issues.
Before anyone accuses me of hating Ange, I don’t. I actually do have
more in common with her and the details I won’t go into.
Without going into family details, I have people in my family who
“have” changed from the wild and crazy to the sensible and caring.
(Minister’s Wife) And though it is somewhat of a running joke, the
person I’ve always know is still there.
Yes, people do change. I just don’t feel that Ange has.

Back to the marriage (or not) and when. My feeling is that we’re coming full circle. Remember when in the very beginning, a buddhist ceremony was mentioned? Well, I’m beginning to feel that possibly that might be the only commitment ceremony Ange might agree to at this time, which is not reallly an official wedding.
