Freshman Psych rears its ugly head: Because Angelina's father cheated on her mother, I believe that rather than be the woman that gets left, Angelina has become the woman who men leave FOR. I don't believe that this is at all a CONSCIOUS choice on her part, and she may even feel really badly somewhere inside that she has a pattern of getting other women's men to fall for her. The little girl inside of her saw her mother's pain and concluded that the way to feel loved was to be the woman that men are willing to leave their wives and potential families for.
