By now, there has been all sorts of coverage of Angelina’s appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The main quote people are using is Angelina saying, “I just think if I can ask anything it’s for everybody in this room, including myself, to stay focused on the issues”
I like the way Reuters put it saying that Brangelina has “reduced the global elite at Davos to star-struck autograph hunters.”
... too funny, ... sad but true
Darfur, Chad, Nepal, Pakistan, ... are much more important than Brangelina.
In other news, iafrica talks about Brangelina marriage bickering. Brad wants to soon … she never wants to. What caught my eye was an Angelina quote, “We planned on having the baby right near my birthday, June 4. “
If the baby comes 2 days after the 4th, then his birthdate will be 06-06-06.
Oh my God! ... it’s all adding up now! ... Jolie’s political power, ... the world’s elite are Brangelina star struck … the baby will be born on 666 … the seed of Brangelina will be … the Antichrist!

The gossip is coming fast and furious on these two. Its been reported in In Touch mag. that Princess Di’s former jewler is designing a “special gem” for the couple.Brad commissioned him to do it,so I believe they are going to get married in the near future.Regardless of what crap Star mag.,or the others say

I read about the marriage bickering and the special gem. That “060606 thing” sounds realy scary to me, but I read in one of the celeb mags that they expect a May 2nd and not a June delivery date. Besides, AJ strikes me as the type of person who is on top of such stuff and would not want a 060606 birth date for her son, and would move that date up (earlier).
Going back to the marriage thing, I was hoping they would get married on Valentines day, but, after hearing her in that interview saying they will “never” marry, I am now beginning to give up any hope of the wedding being before the baby is born. But, on the other hand, I think Brad will prevail. He, being a good baptist, will strongly argue for not having a kid born out of wedlock. I hope he sticks to his guns and comes up with some good arguments to persuade AJ.
In another matter, I read somewhere that JA has kept a journal during her marriage to Brad, and that she may write a tell-all book. I knew our little miss is not such a sweetheart. The article said that if she should try that dirtly little trick, then she will have to deal with Angelina countering that and publishing something that would totally eclipse her book. Gee, I wonder whose book will be higher on the best sellers list

good bapitists don’t get women preggers out of wedlock, so it’s too late to have any morals. Doesn’t really matter if they marry. It would probably be easier for them to stay single because if they were to marry it will be more paperwork in a couple years when they divorce.
This is Hollywood. They stay together until they get bored of each other. As Brad once said “he’s not sure if he’s meant to stay married to one person”
Regarding JA’s “tell all book” .Yes,if she kept a journal of Brad,it proves she is not America’s “sweetheart” She is someone who needs shrink help.Hanging on to hate is very destructive.If she really had friends,they would tell her to get help
If Brad really did say he wasn’t meant to stay married to one person, he said it during his previous marriage—and that tells us a lot.
And if JA really does write a tell-all book, she’s either getting VERY bad advice from her publicist, or she thinks she has no identity other than being Brad’s ex. I mean, it’s not like she needs the money.
For the umpteenth time I was perusing the Jared images (Jan 28) of Brangelina at Davos and I noticed that Brad is wearing what looks like a wedding band on his right middle finger (wrong hand and finger for a wedding band, unless he is starting something new). Any clue as to the history of his ring?
I heard it meant he was marrying Angelina’s brother too.

Anon, your comment sent me back to my people magazine rack to “double check my source (hahaha),” where I read that Jolie said in an interview, “I will never marry.” And then she qualified it by saying that, “well, maybe, if the kids asks us to when they are older, we will re-evaluate.”
About the baptist thing. What is Brad anyway?? I thought I read somewhere else that some source (his brother, or his spokes person??) said something to the effect that, “Brad is not a budhist but a baptist,” in response to a question regarding plans for a future wedding ceremony.

I had a home birth and my midwife wanted to know if we wanted to keep the placenta. I told her no so she took it to her house and buried it. Then she planted a tree or a bush over it. I thought that was a good idea. I have heard of people who eat them though, YUCK.

Hey Baby…., I do not have a link. My “inquiring mind (no pun intended)” read about this interview with AJ and some director at the Beverly Hills Hotel, in last week’s (I believe) US celeb mag, where she told him that she will NEVER marry. Of course, that was last week’s gossip; this week, “rumor has it” that it looks more and more like they will be getting married, and that some brit called the naked chef, who Brad dined with last week in London (also dining were Madge and Guy), might cater it. So sorry I have no link.
Didn’t Angelina almost ruin Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith’s marriage because she was pursuing him during the filming of Original Sin? Boy she sure has a track record for going after her leading movie men. She said she’d never be able to look herself in the mirror if she slept w/ a married man. Well, thats another lie for sure. Sad she has ruined her credibility but wants us to all take her seriously now. Prove it over time I say to Angie baby and i’ll crawl out of my cold grave someday and say I was wrong about you.

People are human. Brad and Ange have made mistakes. I make mistakes everyday. Jenn has obviously made mistakes (though I would be very VERY surprised and dissappointed in her if she published a book about the break up).
Honestly, I am often quite dissappointed in myself about how wrapped up in the lives of COMPLETE STRANGERS that I can become. But obviously, I am here, just like the rest of you, and seem to have some emotional involvement in the actions of these people. I am STILL boycotting Brad and Angie (though I’m sure they will not suffer one iota if I don’t see Mr. & Mrs. Smith, or the Good Shepheard, or the Assassination of Jesse James). I just can’t stand that she seems to be able to get everything she wants. Yes, I guess I am jealous.
I don’t even know why I’m writing this! :) Its not like any of us can affect them, nor do they really care about our opinions of them (in my opinion). I feel that Brad and Ange would be wise to do like Goldie and Kurt- together for 20-something years and never married. What’s the point of marriage now? Its only a word and Angie has been married twice before, and Brad JUST had one of the most public divorces ever. Marriage as an institution seems not to be working for our society these days. It’s not that I don’t believe in monogamy, its only…....ah, who cares what I think anyway ;)
Really, I want the best for Jenn. It must be so hard to one day be married to the MOST BEAUTIFUL MAN ON THE PLANET, and then the next he’s already got the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THE PLANET pregnant. Sometimes I’m just so mad at Brad (who was my MAN before all this) because he’s been so insensitive. If his love for Angie is real, couldn’t he wait a few months before being attached at the hip to her in public? Couldn’t he just sit with being single again for a while, before jumping into another romance? Sure, they waited until now to hold hands, but like we (and Jenn) didn’t know what was goin on.

Freshman Psych rears its ugly head: Because Angelina’s father cheated on her mother, I believe that rather than be the woman that gets left, Angelina has become the woman who men leave FOR. I don’t believe that this is at all a CONSCIOUS choice on her part, and she may even feel really badly somewhere inside that she has a pattern of getting other women’s men to fall for her. The little girl inside of her saw her mother’s pain and concluded that the way to feel loved was to be the woman that men are willing to leave their wives and potential families for.
I don’t know enough about Brad’s fam to try to analyze him ;)

Hey what you are saying makes a lot of sense to me. I’m sure it must be so hard on Jen and I’m really not on any team. I couldn’t imagine the pain she had had to endure in public and then have people judge her. I agree about not getting married for them. They have already made a joke out of marriage anyway. How long do these Hollywood marriages last?
If Brad was not happy, that’s fine to leave. There was just a classier way to do it than what he did. It was very selfish and insensitive. People think since he was a free man and getting divorced, it was ok. However, I’m sure if their husbands did it to them, they would feel differently and would understand the “appropriate thing to do”.
One thing I hve learned through Brangelina is that the values of our country are in trouble. Marriage, cheating etc doesn’t phase people. Instant gratification is better than long term happiness…..especially since they are bring ing children into all of this. Aren’t there enough screwed up Hollywood children already…..Angie included.

All the publicity that Brad and Angelina get is absurd. To break off his marriage to Jennifer to be with Angelina, shows he has no morals and no class. I have not looked at his or her movies the same, nor will I pay to watch their movies. I think everyone deserves happiness….but not at the expense of others. Everyone speaks highly of Angelina with her efforts in third world countries, but what about our country. I feel sorry for their unborn child and adopted children. They both are selfish and self-centered individuals.
