I'm mad crazy about Angie, but I have a lot of compassion for Jen too. It must be really painful for Jen to accept the fact that Brad is happier, fulfilled and content being with another woman. It also doesn't help a bit that the other woman happens to be Angelina Jolie, the most fascinating desire object of men and women on this planet. Let's face it, it really is "life or something like it".

As a mom, and grandmom, I hope that Brad's mom realizes she can't pick the woman that her son falls in love with, anymore than she could order him not to leave Jennifer because she loves her so much. She (Brad's Mom) should want her son to be happy, as I do, and give him and Angelina all her blessings. We only raise our kids, guide them, protect, and then let them live their lives, so I really do hope that Brad's mom accepts her son's choice.

As for Jennifer, and please don't hit me too hard. I'm old and sick, so I have enough to contend with, but I would like to say that Jennifer would never have made it to the GQ whatever title it is if it weren't for all the media coverage.

Brad, despite the pictures that have been posted and printed in different mags, has tried very hard to be sensitive to Jen's needs. And, no, you can't force someone to love you. I wouldn't want a husband that is in love with another woman but stays with me so the media, and most especially, the fans will be happy. I have never been a fan of Jennifer, but I have never disliked her until she began her "poor little me" act and began to use her situation for her own advantage. I hope she finds happiness also. I have woked alongside actors, know a lot of them, and let's face it, a marriage that is lived in a fishbowl, with the media and fans knowing your every move, is doomed almost from the beginning. However, I have also known actors, married to each other, who have stayed together despite the media and fan outcries. They stayed together because their love was strong.

I wish Brad and Angelina a lot of happiness, more babies, adopted or their very own (I do think that a couple of Jolie-Pitt babies would be wonderful for both of them), but I also hope they continue to adopt.

My best to Brad and Angelina, and Jennifer, find a man you can love and be happy.

Ditto, I hope Jolie is pregnant, and that she delivers safely and has a beautiful baby. You know, along that vein, I wonder what type of name they'll pick, French, English, Latin, Asian,... Someone, please stop me! I am counting my chickens before they even hatch (ha ha ha). No pun intended!

Yeah, I guess it would be kinda normal for them to talk? I dunno. Or their lawyers. I'm gettting a whole different impression of JA since all this started, and it is not a nice one. I hope Angelina is pregnant and that she and he have an adorable baby to add to the family. It's so exciting for Brad, he's got everything he wanted in the past year! Total score for Angelina, Maddox and Sahara too.

Maaaeeeve, buddy, thanx!
That article hit the spot and it came at just the right time, when I was literally dying in a sea of Brangelina information drought. Oh, yesterday, I read in one of the celeb weeklies, that when Jen called Brad's cell phone, Angie picked up, not knowing that it was Jen (because the caller id said Private Caller). I would have given anything to be able to overhear what reportedly was a very short, stilted and chilly small talk with many charged silences, until Jolie handed Brad the phone. You now, I was just wondering why Jen still calls Brad, but, on second thought, they still have unfinished business (a $28m house to sell and their movie company to run), so I guess it's OK? In that same mag article, it said that Jolie is now beginning to understand the fieriness of Brad's breakup with Jen, which is contrary to what Jolie first thought of his marriage (more like Mr&Mrs Smith, where the marriage meltdown was caused by ennui and indifference). Uhm.
Once again, Maeve, you're nails!
